Hi Rogov,

Have you tasted the Toscaleoni Chianti 2003 that I picked up today? Thanks.

Ilan, Hi....

A simple but pleasant little Chianti, meant for early drinkiing and certainly not meant to be held for five years after the harvest. My tasting note follows. (Note the tasting date)

Toscaleoni, Chianti, 2003: Bright garnet in color, medium-bodied, with lively berry, cherry and plum fruits backed up nicely by light mineral-earthy undertones. Lacking complexity but a good match to food. Drink now. Score 85. K. (Tasted 23 Feb 2005)
