(Kosher) Argentinean Wines

by Yossie Horwitz » Fri Sep 12, 2008 4:03 pm

As a follow-up to my prior post on the Tekiah Winery (viewtopic.php?f=29&t=18146&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=tekiah), I was wondering what kosher wines were out there from Argentina (or Latin/South America in general)?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks!
Yossie

Sure Abarbanel wine imports some really nice wines from Argentina-
under Byblos and Layla . They produce many wines such as a cab, Bonarda malbec sparkling wine brut and pinot noir-
I tasted the 2006 Byblos Cabernet semi dry last week. This Semi Dry is a really nice wine for those individuals that find most dry wines overly dry.Wines are kosher under the OK symbol.

Also worth keeping in mind are the Tierra Salvaje wines from both Chile and Argentina.
