Menachem, Hi...

Following are my most recent tasting notes for the wines in question.

Best
Rogov

Tzora Vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon, Givat Hachalukim, 2006: Made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, with softly caressing tannins and reflecting a gentle hand with oak. Medium to full-bodied, with generous currant and wild berry fruits, those matched nicely by hints of anise and white pepper. Finishes moderately long with a note of minted chocolate. Drink now–2010. Score 88. K

Tzora Vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot, Neve Ilan, Judean Hills, 2004: Dark garnet, this medium-bodied blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon and 38% Merlot was aged in French barriques for 18 months. Somewhat chunky tannins and spicy oak, which yield slowly in the glass to show blackberry and currant fruits. A pleasant country-style wine. Drink now–2009. Score 85. K

Tzora Vineyards, Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon, Judean Hills, 2006: Garnet toward royal-purple, medium to full-bodied, with soft tannins and reflecting its 12 months in oak with a gentle spiciness. A blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas and flavors of cassis, blackberries and an appealing hint of vanilla. Easy to drink but with just enough complexity to catch our attention. Drink now. Score 87. K
