Today tasted the 2006 Rose Camille kosher edition. The good news is that like the 2005 wine, this is a truly fine fine. The bad news is that there may not be further kosher editions of the wine, much depending on whether the winery succeeds in finding a sales point in the United States.

Domaine Roses Camille, Pomerol, 2006: Based primarily on Merlot, full-bodied, with soft, gently caressing tannins and a hint of spicy oak. On the nose and palate blackcurrants, raspberries and tobacco, those supported nicely by notes of mocha. Generous and long, with an enchanting note of black licorice on the finish. Appraochable now but this one will show its best and at its most elegant from 2014-2028. Score 93.
