Wine Heist Hagafen Deal

by Isaac C » Tue Dec 13, 2011 12:08 pm

WineHeist is offering the Hagafen Cabernet Franc 2007 for $29 a bottle. I think this is a good deal, but nothing amazing. Though, if you order more than 6 bottles the shipping is free so that makes the deal much better.

Sorry, but I just had the wine and it is NOT worth 27 dollars or 17 dollars - pass.

Have tasted it several times since its release and have not liked it.

No way Yoel - initially it was absolutely killer! In the past year+ it has either been in a deep coma or outright bad. The nose never came alive, no matter what I tried this past weekend. The mouth finally came to life, but was not the winner I remember. Agree now it is not fun, but originally it was great - so it is with wine....

+1 on this wine never being good. I think David's bottle was a mislabeled something else as a CF

I'm with David on this one - it was great not so long ago but seems to have gotten disgruntled recently.

I will have a talk with the bouncer at the front door(Cork).. :)
The question is; "When was the last good bottle tasted"?
