This was just off the Cuff not an overall set..

And the Pomeral 05' can be found for $36 needs about 3 Hours to open up .. Still very young.

Wow that Vouvrey runs out the door and none can be had for about a year.. Are you thinking of the Royal Selection or the Clos De Nouys

The Clos De Nouys - used to be nice, but headed down hill fast. Chenin Blanc is nice - when it has ripe fruit - blanced with bright acidity, this one lost the acid

David, have you tasted Chateau de Thenac - Flor de Perigord? From AOC Bergerac, outside Bordeaux, I think it's fantastic and it's right about $20

Agreed - I scored it an A-, the wine goes for twenty bucks - WOW! Also, the Chateau Rollan de By is not so bad, and the
Domaine des 3 Cellier Chateauneuf du Pape is OK.

Yeah, so maybe 8 options including the three I mention, still sad, but a bit better!

There is a new line of 2010s coming out from the Rollan de By domaines, so we'll see how those are priced. I haven't tasted a kosher CDP that moved me.

The hope is that the Vignobles David CDP will move us all - coming soon.....

The Pommeral is fine for the 2005 vintage - ONLY, but seriously, 40 bucks for a bottle of wine is still up there.

David: I have to disagree there. The '03 Chateau Royaumont was pretty nice and after the price cut, priced comparably to similar quality Israeli/California wines--although I haven't had any in a year or so so no idea how it's drinking now. I agree it's still not
Has anyone had a bottle lately?
