Digged up from the cellar a bottle of a wine I thought was long gone and well, it's not.
It was a one-time run kosher white wine made under the supervision of the Av Beth Din of Geneva, Rabbi Avraham Yaffe Schlesinger whom I know personally and that is at least as strict as the Badatz. The same rabbi supervised about 10 years ago the making of a kosher Gamay-Gamaret (think Beaujolais - NOT nouveau- style) there that was pretty good
Cave Berthaudin, Mont-sur-Rolle AOC 2007: Made from Chasselas grapes grown at Tartegnin sur Rolle in Canton de Vaud on the hills looking over the Lac Leman, unoaked. Light gold in color with on the nose fresh summer fruits and hints of green apples. Medium-bodied and bone dry with stone fruits, apples and notes of white pepper with a fairly long finish. Bracing acidity explains its liveliness. Interesting... and not bad at all.
