2015 Beringer Knights Valley Cabernet; for 20 bucks, this wine (otd) out the door, is impressive with black current and eucalyptus in a medium-full body. Opened just as a p-n-p since I wanted to maybe buy more soon and glad I did but a 4-6 hr. decant would have been helpful. Will get maybe a couple of cases as this wine can age too at least 5-8 years easy

$20 is a very low price based on current retail.

Local retail is $47 Can. You must have found a real deal!

BTW, it used to be quite ageable - I still have 93 and 94 thar drink quite well, if not as good as they were 5 years ago.

Someone mentioned on Sunday that "some Beringer cab" has been marked down at Costco to $8 a bottle. My neighbors each bought several cases. Wondered if it was the Knights Valley, which has been in stock.

However, Bill, the Knights Valley of old is no longer. Where yours were specific to a particular vineyard, the current Knights Valley is just a branded name "made in the style of" and possibly assisted by modern science as Beringer is a big customer of designer wine labs.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
