Chicago Wine Shops?

by Howie Hart » Tue Jun 11, 2019 4:47 am

I'll be attending a wedding this weekend in Chicago. I would like to buy a gift certificate to a quality Chicago wine shop as part of a wedding gift. I recall a few posts from several years ago about wine shops in Chicago. Any recommendations?

Flickinger Fine Wines has a solid reputation.

Also Hart Davis & Hart (seems fitting :) ).

Apparently Flickinger has no storefront, just a warehouse.

Red and White and Perman Wines are both excellent small shops. Flickinger is great but, yes, it’s all online sales, no storefront.
cheers, Patchen
