WTN: Bloody Well Himmelreich

2012 Joh. Jos. Prüm Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (9/25/2022)
Youthful, supremely elegant, yet possessing boundless flavor, this Kabinett is a reminder of what the pradikat was, and sometimes can be. There’s a delicacy to each element, and it’s deftly composed. The fruit is crisp and fresh. There’s a salinity and a stoniness - a splash of waves on a jetty. The acidity, while never dominant, resonates on the finish, with just a whisper of creaminess betraying the fact that this is ten years old. Drink any time over the next twenty years.
