Another Parker question

by Doug Surplus » Wed Sep 12, 2007 11:55 pm

What are some good places to eat in the Parker/Castle Rock part of Colorado.

While we'll be looking for a lot of cheaper eats (these shows are expensive, especially hauling two horses from Phoenix) we will want to dine nicely at least once or twice.

In Parker, SE of Parker Road & E-470, there is the Saltgrass Steak House Good cuts of meat, decent soups, desserts are HUGE.

Next door to the Saltgrass is Joe's Crab Shack... I'm not a seafood guy, so I can't give you a review. Sorry!

In Castle Rock, we always eat at the Pegasus on the Square. Our Kennel Club meets there once a month & I've tried a good portion of the menu. Nothing gourmet, by any means, but decent food all around. This one is a block west of the main drag... looks like a house from the outside! We missed it the first time we went there.
