JC,

If I am in the area, I will definitely let you know. Please keep us posted on the final plans.

Check on the Offline Planning forum. I'm switching over there now.

Where is that place? I looked in the home page and didn't happen to spot a reference. I'm asking because I'll probably be up in the DCV on the 13th, though I don't think I'll be able to do a dinner.

I see what you mean, John. You have to click on "Contact and Links" on the left side of the home page and then "printable directions" brings up a map. It's address is 110 West Spain Street, Sonoma, CA.

On the northwest corner of Historic Sonoma Plaza--ground floor of the vintage Sonoma Hotel.
Would love to have you join us if you can make it.

Sorry, I do know about The Girl and the Fig; I was trying to ask where the Offline Planning Forum is.

Are you going to be there (G&F, that is) in the afternoon, around 4 PM?

John, "Offline Planning" is another forum here just like the Wine, Food, and Friends sections. Just click on Index, above left, to find it.

John, I probably won't get to Sonoma (the town) until shortly before dinner. My plan is to head up north to Ferrari-Carano Winery that day and work south towards Sonoma hitting the wineries in which I'm most interested. There is a faint possibility that I might get into town in time to visit some of the tasting rooms on Sonoma Plaza.

That's sort of what I'll be doing, too. I'll start in the Alexander Valley at Field Stone probably, then go over to DCV. I have to pick up an order at David Coffaro, and there are a couple of places I've never visited (it seems to be a perennial problem!).

If we meet, we meet. If not, then we don't. :-)
