Decanting time?

by David from Switzerland » Fri Sep 28, 2007 8:32 pm

Usually try to observe a wine's development with airing in the glass, but will probably not get a chance tomorrow, having to serve one after the other to a number of people in close succession. Some of these wines I have not had in a number of years, a couple never.
Has anyone had one of the following wines lately, thus could give some indication on how long to decant them in advance? Educated guesses are welcome also, of course.

Giacomo Conterno Monfortino 1999
Jamet 1988
Ornellaia 2001
Vega Sicilia Unico 1994
Roberto Voerzio Brunate 1997

Greetings from Switzerland, David.
