Bob, I'm guessing they're old posts of yours. Not sure how she's linking emails.

I just saw the same message in my spam filter 15 minutes ago. I saw "TN: Lisini, CRB, Brun, Marquis Phillips" - wait a sec, I thought, that sounds like one of my titles. I thought at first it was from alt.food.wine, as I X-post there, but I see there I titled that episode "Lisini, Brun, 2 Aussies." But Wine Lovers Page archives shows title she used. But as far as I could see at a glance, not an email link.

hmm, notice that X-Sender address is an address that I think is an actual one Robin uses (his name at a funny spelling of a house made of ice dot com). Someone break into db?

Okay, I see it. Alas, they're just using the OLD forum, where the "Email" links are still active.

I would hate to have to pull the forum down, although I can do it if we have to.

But first, let me see if I can just kill the old E-mail links.

(Edit: DONE. They won't be doing that any more. :)

This was not really a hack. These idiots simply found their way into the old forum, started calling up posts, clicking the E-mail links, and going to town.

I've disabled the program that allows sending E-mails from the old forum - no more need for it, anyway - and that won't be happening again.
