Quebec's artisanal wines to get dedicated retail space at the SAQ

by Paul B. » Mon May 15, 2006 12:52 pm

Finally, some promising news out of Quebec. I have long wished for Quebec's wineries to get more retail exposure in their home province, and the SAQ announced that it will hold sections specifically for Quebec-made wines. Here's a short radio interview with Anthony Carone of Vignoble Carone, in the Lanaudière Valley.

It would be great for Vintages to follow suit and at least feature a Quebec wine or two now and then.
