WTN: W. Gisselbrecht Gewurztraminer Reserve Speciale 2005

by Bruce Hayes » Sat Dec 01, 2007 8:52 pm

Medium-dark golden yellow in the glass.

A very intense and rich nose, with orange, tangerine, lychee, peppery, spicy and sweet.

Moderately viscous, big and fleshy orange and tangerine, lychee, honey, somewhat candied, sweet, good acidity. Very rich and intense.

Purchased at $15.95 (Canadian).

Thanks Bob, I will repost. I would have posted it there originally if I had known the topic. The main page still has Cotes-du-Rhone.

Making a deposit or withdrawl? Once I was visiting a Finger Lakes winery which was selling some excess wine or juice to Constellation and they were somewhat embarassed by the 'Richard's Wild Irish Rose' truck that was sent to do the pickup.
