Wine Cellar Sorbet

A friend of mine is addicted to the "best" pizza in the world made in a shop in Brooklyn Heights. The pizza's ok as far as I'm concerned, but what I really enjoy are the wine sorbets he often brings back for me.

The sorbets are made by David Zablocki and they have about eight flavors at the moment.

Oops, sorry, they are called vintages [at least some of the time]:

The New York Riesling had a very good tangy taste, and the Sauterne worked beautifully with some slightly tart strawberries.

According to the NY Times today, the sorbets contain 5% alcohol, but I don't see that info on the labelling.
