WTN: Trivento Syrah 2004

by Bruce Hayes » Fri Aug 04, 2006 8:36 am

Mendoza. Oak barrel aged.

Deep purple color.

Soft and creamy nose with light milk chocolate.

Tangy, good cherry-berry fruit, red licorice, rich and smoky, turning a little hot on the finish (no doubt due to the 14 per cent alcohol).

Chocolate and tartness on the finish.

Some pretty good wines coming from this winery, Bruce. Think we posted on the Malbec on the old WLDG WT 101. Good price too eh.

Thanks for reminding me of the price Bob.

Yes, it is a good QPR at $12.95 Canadian.
