WTN: Mike Weir Sauvignon Blanc 2010

by Bruce Hayes » Fri Nov 02, 2012 10:08 am

Niagara Peninsula

Pale yellow in the glass.

Rich gooseberry on the nose.

Medium weight, gooseberry, lemon, a hint of orange, good acidity, peppery, clean.

Tart, citrus rind, peppery on the finish.

Okay, but nothing that stands out here.

Screwcap closure.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).

I have never found a Canadian celebrity wine to be worthy of any note either...
