Another Cellar Tracker user captured this wine so well there's no point in me writing my own tasting note, except to say that in the year and a half since he/she wrote this, the wine hasn't changed an iota and his estimate of 2013 as the start of a drinking window is too soon:
Powerful aromatics of roasted and baked cherry with layers of vanilla and cocoa powder, but very muted on the palate, nervous and shy. Screaming acidity never lets the fruit come out and play. Leave this one in the cellar for a few more years, or longer. Drink 2013-2020+
We drank it anyway because what else are you going to do, but it certainly wasn't the experience we hoped for.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
