WTN: Trapiche Finca Las Palmas Malbec 2007

by Bruce Hayes » Mon Nov 05, 2012 11:04 am

Mendoza

Dark purple in the glass.

Floral, spicy, rich berry fruit on the nose.

Medium weight, good tangy acidity, currants, sour cherries, raspberry, a hint of mint, quite rich and fruit forward, cedary, tobacco.

Mouthwatering, tangy, anise, berry fruit on the long finish.

Delicious, with rich fruit and enough acidity to keep it from being goopy.

Purchased at $17.95 (Canadian).
