Tom and others,

Can you indulge by listing...
Your Favorite vintage of Lytton Springs and Geyserville ever?
Your Favorite vintage of Lytton Springs and Geyserville of the '90's?
Your Favorite vintage of Lytton Springs and Geyserville since 2000?

Thanks,
Patrick

Yup, Jon......I thought it was better than the '09....but that would be quibbling perhaps.
I also think 73 angels can dance on the head of a pin.
You can't go wrong w/ either one. I was taken by the '10 because of the incredible spiciness it showed when
we tried it. But, 10 yrs down the road....who knows??

Well...Patrick...off the top of my head, I don't think I can answer those questions. I'd have to go back thru all
my TN's to the early '70's. Those early ones are not archived in e-form, so I'd have to wade thru 4-5 thick paper volumes.
It'd take me a whole day. Sorry....don't think I'm up to that.
Off the top of my head. I'd say the '73 Geyserville was my favorite of all time. But that one was from a different vnyd, not the TrentadueRanch,
as all the rest of them have been.
Of the LS, perhaps the '74.
Bear in mind that those wines were made in a far different style than the Ridges are nowadays.

Thanks!!! I have 6 to pick up. Maybe I need more.

I'm finding Lytton and Geyserville much harder to get in Boston recently. I'm being told that a higher % is going to restaurants. Not sure if that's true.

I don't know the exact release dates but Lytton is released in the Fall (Sept/Oct) and Geyserville in the Spring (March/April). The 2010 LS is definitely in the marketplace but there doesn't seem to be much of it around.

I just saw a bunch of it at Wine Discount Center in Chicago. A few bottles did find their way back to my cellar...
