Tried this last night w/ leftovers:
1. SansLiege TheOffering SBC (41% Grenache/36% Syrah/21% mourv/2% Viog; 33 brls; 15.4%) CurtSchalchlin/SantaMaria 2006: Very dark color w/ slight bricking; very strong blackberry/boysenberry/Syrah/framboise/plummy slight earthy/peppery slight alcoholic/fumey rather dusty/bit herbal/thyme/pungent light toasty/oak fairly complex nose; soft rather dusty/earthy/herbal/thyme/pungent bit tannic/hard strong blackberry/boysenberry/Syrah/plummy light toasty/charred/oak flavor; med.long blackberry/Syrah bit strawberry/Grenache plummy/licorice/pungent light toasty/oak finish w/ some hard/drying tannins; a rather interesting red Rhone blend but starting to dry out a bit; has the earthiness of a good CdR but much more fragrant fruit.
