I should be getting my Foch Nouveau from Johnson Estate today, but will have it with Thanksgiving.

Right on, Ed.

For years, I bypassed the whole BN event completely ... but this year I have an earnest desire to go all out. I'll probably try a few different BNs and buy one of our Ontario VQA Gamay Nouveau wines too, though with the appalling vintage we've had, I'm not sure if it will be any good to be Frank (no obscure Finger Lakes reference in there, I can assure you) :)

In short, I'm planning a pizza party around the BN. In all likelihood, it'll be a non-traditional pizza.

Anyhow, as far as I know, we don't have any hybrid nouveau wines available. A Foch nouveau should still produce quite a dark wine, what with the classic V. riparia pigmentation and all.

We got a Bojo Villages Nouveau from Drouhin. As I'm to make a big, meaty stew tomorrow that requires much wine, I'm almost tempted to buy it (since I tend to love Drouhin and Bojos): I could drink anything from a sip to a glass and use the rest in the stew. We'll see tomorrow if I bother to buy it. If I do, I'll post a note.
I don't drink wine because of religious reasons ... only for other reasons.

You want an itemized list... or will a simple Top Ten do?

Banana Boy,
Ten would be way too much information.
I had a tiny sip of the Deboeff Nuvo on Thursday and it tasted just like Circus Peanuts...and that is not a good thing.

Had the DuBoeuf last night. Didn't love it because I won't love this style, but have to admit it's the best I ever remember this wine being.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
