PinotFile lists All-American teams of Pinot Noir

by JC (NC) » Mon Dec 31, 2012 4:58 pm

Was just reading the Prince of Pinots selections for 2012 All-American teams of California Pinot Noirs and Oregon Pinot Noirs (plus value team and All-American Chardonnays). I was pleased to see the 2009 Alysian Floodgate Vineyard Rock Hill Russian River Valley Pinot Noir on the California All-American first team. I have two bottles on hand but haven't opened one yet. Part of the quote on this wine is "crazy good." I have some of the honorable mentions from the California and Oregon lists and different vintages of Domaine Serene Evenstad which made the second-team Oregon list for the 2008 vintage (I have the 2005 and the 2007 vintages.)
