48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot, 6% Syrah. 13.5% abv. Artificial cork. Very dark purple color; opaque and leggy. Fragrance of dark berries and plumskins plus a hint of polished leather. Fruity with blackberry/raspberry notes. I always seem to attain simple pleasures from this uncomplicated wine that nevertheless gives a bit of depth from the blend of three varieties. Relatively good QPR. Best on the first evening.
