We tasted Fri night:
1. Failla Viognier AlbanVnyd/EdnaVlly (14.7%; www.FaillaWines.com) 2010
: Med.gold color; strong ripe/honeyed/honeysuckle quite floral/peach/pear/pineapple/Viog very light taosty/oak/vanilla quite perfumed nose; fairly tart quite ripe/pineapple/pear/floral/Viog bit creamy/vanilla/oak bit hard/alcoholic flavor; long tart/hard/lean slight tangy/metallic bit alcoholic ripe/pear/pineapple/Viog/floral some creamy/vanilla/oak light stony/chalky finish; probably will benefit from several yrs of age; lots of ripeness but quite structured and definitly not a DollyParton Viognier. $36.00 (SFW&S)
