I just picked this up to have with dinner tonight. I have never had it. Has anyone here tried it? What is it like?

Just had dinner. This is a cherry bomb. Medium body with soft tannins (Ravenswood would call this a 'Wimpy Zin'). Lots-o-Cherry here. I get a little cola (?) back there somewhere. This may be the Cherry Coke of Zins.

Personally, I prefer a little more body to my zin. But this was by no means offensive. I'll post the menu in the foodie section.

So what was the vintage ? I have sold both '02 and '03. It sells here in Oregon for about $11. It is someones 2nd label From Chiles Valley. I cannot remember who.

I had the '03. The more I thought about it after I had it, the less of an impression it made on me. It was just too sweet for my taste. It sells here in Austin for about $15
