2000 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Crau - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (12/28/2013)
A good but not excellent Chateauneuf. It has some fruit, some herbal elements, some earthiness and is well developed in terms of softening tannin and overall harmony. It is however lacking in the mid-palate and finish where it comes across as more than a little watery/thin. Not much depth here.
