2012 Arnot-Roberts Syrah North Coast - USA, California, North Coast (1/7/2014)
Rare roasted meat, herbs, stone dust, dark berries and a balancing dash of acidity make for a beautiful package. This is what I am looking for in Syrah. The tannins are sneaky, creeping in on the end, but there's plenty of stuffing to let them soften for a couple of years. I'm not sure I will have the willpower to stay away from the wine though.

Yup! It also did a great job as the deglazing liquid for my steak. Fantastic sauce.

Hey Dick, good to see you again. Your son's an enabler. :)
