WTN: Nepenthe Sauvignon Blanc 2005

by Bruce Hayes » Mon Dec 18, 2006 7:34 pm

Adelaide Hills, Australia.

Lime and green peaches and a hint of pine resin on the nose.

Peppery, very tangy acidity, green peach, lemon-lime and grapefruit, rich and full. Clean and delicious. I usually drink NZ Sauvignon Blanc's and this lacks the grassiness and gooesberry I usually associate with them.

Long, mouthwatering, citrusy finish.

Purchased on sale at $14.35 (Canadian), reduced from $16.95.

Screwcap closure.
