WTN: Neyers Syrah HudsonVnyd '99...(short/boring)

Tried this last night w/ my salad:
1. NeyersVnyd Syrah HudsonVnyd/Carneros/NapaVlly (14.5%) 1999: Very dark color w/ little bricking; rather smokey/toasty/oak very pungent/olive tapenade/roasted/whole -cluster/peppery some blackberry/black olive/Syrah bit ozone/pungent complex very Rhonish nose; slightly tart/tangy whole-cluster/roasted/black olive/tapenade slight blackberry/peppery/cold-climate Syrah some toasty/charred/oak/smokey quite complex flavor w/ light/velvety tannins; very long/lingering tart/tangy strong black-olive/tapenade/roasted/Rhonish/whole-cluster light blackberry/black olive/Syrah complex finish w/ light/smooth tannins; lost a bit of Syrah fruit but a beautiful Rhonish example of Calif Syrah.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. One of the early renditions of HudsonVnyd Syrah. Truly one of the great Syrah vnyds in Calif...in the World, even. This was a wine made by EhrenJordan.
