Tried this last night w/ dinner:
1. OjaiVnyd Syrah WhiteHawkVnyd/SBC (14.0%) 2002: Dark color w/ no bricking; very strong smokey/pungent/toasty/oak/charred some peppery strong blackberry/Syrah/blueberry light Rhonish/roasted/coffee light earthy/dusty classic Ojai Syrah levely nose; slightly tart strong blackberry/blueberry/Syrah/peppery/spicy rather smokey/pungent/charred/oak rather Rhonish/roasted/coffee quite structured rich/full-bodied flavor w/ light/hard/firm tannins; very long/lingering structured very strong blackberry/blueberry/Syrah/peppery strong smokey/charred/oak some Rhonish/coffee/roasted/pungent finish w/ ample/ripe/smooth tannins; a beautiful classic Ojai Syrah that will go another 4-8 yrs; lots of pungent Ojai bit Rhonish character.
