Quite a lovely Sonoma Valley wine, actually. Definitely some oak on the nose, but alos some cool earthy and peppery notes. Oak again there on the palate, but classic cabernet character with cassis, blackberry, more slickness than oak "flavor" and some herbal notes.
Very old school!
