WTN: "These 'Boots' Are Made For Drinkin'!"

2004 Trevor Jones "Boots" Barrossa Valley Cebo Rose 13.5% alc.
Vintage close out price for this one at my wine store (50% off @ $6 btl.)

A knockout rose (IMHO) not just because of the price, this is a veritable palette of intensity! The color doesn't say "Rose"(pinkish) to me. It's deeper than what I would consider a typical rose; the color is somewhere between a white zin and a pinot noir. Tremendous fruity/floral bouquet (crimson fruit, roses, carnations)! Luscious fruit on the palate (strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, red currant, sweet tart cherries), very bright acidity! Goes down very well, sipping just does't quite do it justice. Gotta give it a gulp once in awhile.
These "Boots" are surely-- made for Drinkin'!

Sounds like a find, Aaron. I like the Trevor Jones "Virgin" Chardonnay but haven't tried much else from their wines.

Bob, I answered my own question with this site-- Trevor Jones. Now I guess the only question is-- what vintage?
