2012 Ridge Geyserville - USA, California, Sonoma County (8/27/2015)
This is just so friendly. It's impressive for how drinkable it is. Maybe not a wine for decades of aging, but they do not all have to do that. I love the rich, plummy fruit, and there is sufficient structure to keep things in line. Just yummy. Should be fun drinking over the next 15 years or so. Can't ask for more than that.

Very timely, David. I just picked up three bottles of the '12 Geyserville yesterday! Thanks.

I have three of the 2012 Lytton Springs coming when the weather is cooler (along with one bottle of the estate Cabernet Sauvignon--not the Monte Bello.) This is my order from my visit to Ridge on Aug. 2nd when I tasted on the patio at Lytton Springs.
