WTN: DryCreekVnyd PetiteSirah '07...(short/boring)

Tried this last night w/ my broiled sausages:
1. DryCreekVnyd PetiteSirah DryCreekVlly (10% Zin; 186 cs; 13.9%; www.DryCreekVineyard.com) 2007: Inky black color; rather toasty/vanilla/oak very strong licorice/boysenberry/blackberry bit peppery/PS huge fruit lovely nose; bit tart light earthy/dusty/OV very strong boysenberry/spicy/blackberry/licorice/peppery/biig fruit structured flavor w/ some hard/mouth-coating tannins; very long structured lightly tart very strong blackberry/boysenberry/PS/peppery/licorice rather dusty/OV light vanilla/oak/toasty finish w/ some hard/rough tannins; lots of structure for a PS and avoids the oafish/clumsy/coarse side of some PS; evolving at a glacial pace; can still use another 10 yrs and has the fruit to carry it out. $28.00

1. DCV doesn't make a whole lot of PS. But when they do, they're always worth buying. One of the best PS's being made in Calif. They remind me some of the Carlisle PS, but noot as big and a bit more scaled back. They don't show the oafish side you oft see in Calif PS.
