Tried this last night:
1. Ch.Mont-Redon AC: CdP (14%; Kobrand; www.ChateauMontRedon.Fr) Vigneron-Recoltant: Abeille-Fabre 2011: Dark color; strong fruity/Grenache/strawberry/ripe/blackberry bit earthy/dusty/thyme/garrigue rather attractive nose; soft/fat slight tangy/metallic bit earthy big fruit/strawberry/Grenache/blackberry slight herbal/garrigue flavor w/ light slight bitey tannins; long very ripe/Grenache/strawberry/blackberry/big fruit slight CdP/garrigue/herbal/thyme finish w/ light ripe/bitey tannins; lots of lush Grenache fruit but not over-the-top Cambie-style CdP; a pleasant/attractive CdP by not much terroir or interest. $30.00 (KK)

1. Not a very big fan of CdP's, in general. This just came in at KoKo's at a very good price, compared to the previous price of $55. So I sprung for it. It was a big-fruited pleasant-enough expression of CdP, but not very interesting and not going to buy another.
