WTN: 2015 Idlewild The Flower Rosé

by David M. Bueker » Sun Jul 03, 2016 7:39 pm

2015 Idlewild The Flower - USA, California, North Coast (7/2/2016)
Strawberry and cherry fruit accented with herbs and a saline core is held together with a stronger structure than typical for most rosé. Juicy and refreshing on the palate, that structure makes it an equal partner with a meal. Deliciously easy to drink, the bottle was empty much too soon.

"The bottle was empty much too soon." A oft occurring problem with Idlewild wines.
