2013 Starmont Pinot Gris. This sees a little oak, and there is a plenty peppery note that complements and enhances the apple fruit. Lovely wine, actually!
2013 Starmont "Lee Vineyard" Pinot Noir. Totally disagree with the winery tasting notes, as this was all about the earth and savory elements, not bright Carneros cherry. Quite Burgundian in character!
2011 Clarksburg Wine Company "Remenance" Cabernet Franc-heavy right bank blend that is stellar right now. Earth, plum, cassis, and great typicite with bell pepper notes that I loved with the grilled lamb!
2013 Donkey and Goat Mouvedre. Sour plum, bracing D&G acid. Great ending for an evening!
