Ungrafted Vines in France & Superiority of Gyropallets

by Peter May » Fri Sep 09, 2016 1:04 pm

Benjamin Lewin MW writes an indepth and interesting blog..

Two posts in particular caught my attention, a visit to Henry Marionnet in the Loire who grows ungrafted vines and rare old varieties https://winespecific.com/2016/08/30/ungrafted-vines-and-rare-varieties-the-unusual-wines-of-henry-marionnet

and a visit to Champagne maker Bruno Paillard who compared hand riddled versus gyropallet riddled Champagnes and came out in favour of the latter
