WTN: You Betz your life

2014 Betz Family Bésoleil - USA, Washington, Columbia Valley (10/23/2016)
Popped and poured just a few days after arrival, this was quite delicious, all warm herbs, deep red fruit and a leathery, meaty edge. The palate was was supple and carried the flavors well from front to back. Overall it reminded me very much of the Edmunds St. John Rocks & Gravel bottling, but it's 60% more expensive than the ESJ, so not sure it's worth it.

With that comparison, no not worth it. But it's a deservedly popular wine with locals who don't have other options.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
