Forlorn Hope (For Northern Californians Especially)

by Brian K Miller » Mon Dec 19, 2016 7:32 pm

Some interesting news for followers of Matthew Rorick and his "Forlorn Hope" label.

He is partnering up with two other smaller wineries (Farella Park and another one I missed) to open a tasting room on Franklin Street in Downtown Napa (a block off First Street). The tenant improvements are well underway (even on a Saturday they were sawing and hammering in the storefront interior) and I for one am looking forward to the new venue and a chance to taste more of his wines! I am guessing after the first of the year? And I have really liked Farella Park and his Coombsville wines in the past!

The tasting room for Mark Herrold wines is in the same complex. (Those wines are more of the monster fruit bomb character than I like, but your taste may vary!)
