WTN Montefalco Rosso 02 Adanti (from Italy) and pics...

Dinner tonight at our hotel's restaurant - a great simple local trattoria with tons of locals and some smart tourists (wink!). Had one of the best Rosso di Montefalco's by Adanti. Sexy deep garnet with slightly pale orange rim; dried black cherries; LOTS of delicious SPICE, gentle anise, and some earth. Long finish, and present zing of mouth watering acidity....YUM!!!

Tomorrow.... our last day in Assisi, I will walk to the Rocca in the morning... Monday we head to Perugia! Some good enotecas to check out!!!

How was the "three hour tour"?
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

fantastic! Had a guide who was originally from Belgium; very passionate, smart, informative, and had a sense of humor. Amazing what all has happened in this tiny little town. I enjoyed seeing San Rufino church which I had never seen. 8)

I'm glad you had a good time. the next time I'm in Philly for an extended visit, we should find a friendly wine bar to kick back a few.

The big question is. are there any decent wine bars in Philly? I'll be there in May for sure, but I hope to get up before then. I'll let you know. Any other Philly guys or gals want to do a get together sometime?
