Stupid name for a very interesting red wine from Paul Mas Winery 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot. Jean Claude Mas is the winemaker. $10 at Beekmans in Glen Rock.

Deep red color, deep hue, lovely aromas and tastes of plum, berries, spice and toffee, long finish, pretty wine with food, but after two hours it developed an extraordinary depth and complexity for a wine at this price point. Very very light oak -- just a hint -- six months in new oak, then moved to one to three year old vats. Great QPR. 3*+ with aging in the glass.

Is this the one with the frog in a baret on the label? In case it is, the frog is a spitting image of me, I hear!! Never tasted the wine and can't comment on it.
I don't drink wine because of religious reasons ... only for other reasons.

Here you go, Otto -- I'm sure you are better looking than this frog
