2008 Beringer Stanly Ranch Vineyard Carneros Napa Valley Chardonnay; I was a bit worried about the soundness of this Chard. recently bought at The Party Source in Ky. No problem what-so-ever. Color was clear/pale straw a with a great nose and palate of spicey pear with a herbal undertone. Great acidity! The store had 3 more bottles and I would buy them for 19$ (I talked them down from 23$) if I lived closer. I was just visiting. Reminded me of how well Newton Unfiltered Chardonnays from the early-mid 90's aged but they were quite a bit more special than this wine. abv of 14.5%

I've had a nice Saintsbury Pinot Noir from Stanly Ranch before--I don't remember if I've ever had a Chardonnay from that property.
