Dan,

W. can't pronounce Canandaigua; it keeps coming out of his mouth sounding like new-cue-lar, and I wouldn't even try to get him to spell it...

Ed,

The class is about wine in general; it is titled "What is wine?" It covers history, grape growing, climatic differences, explaining appellations, winemaking, wine components, pairing with food, buying wine, ordering in restaurants, reading labels, et al. But it is not a deep study course--it is geared to give the consumer enough information to feel secure and to want to continue the search.

The featured role is played by all New York wine, so I make my points by mostly using NY wine, and often comparing NY wine with the rest of the world's wine.

Many thanks. Sounds like it will be a great addition to the Canandaigua scene.
