2013 Ramey Chardonnay Woolsey Road Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (9/9/2017)
I only had a small pour, as the bottle had to serve tastes for fourteen people, but it was an impressive pour. Ripe peach and nectarine fruit was complemented by spicy oak. The bright acidic spine carried the wine from start to finish, so there was zero heaviness. This would be a great accompaniment to any richer seafood dish, especially if there were any citrus flavor components.
