WTN: Highlands Napa Cabernet 2013

by Jim Grow » Thu Sep 21, 2017 9:01 pm

Opened this tonight with just a little air to see how the rest of a case might evolve. Pretty tight and tannin at first , my wife did a lot of wisking in her glass, but after 2 hrs. it really blossomed into a very nice Cal. Napa Cabernet with somewhat smooth tannins and lots of cassis and eucalyptus. This wine has a great future so I'll try to keep my hands off of it for 5+ years or send it to my off-site cellar where that is more probable. abv of 14,5%

It surprises me how many names come out of Napa that I've never heard of, and here's another. Was this another flash site deal? You've found some good ones.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Yes, this was a Last Bottle deal for $29, Happy to add it to my growing collection of Napa Cabs.
