WTN: Ryme Fiano '15...(short/boring)

Tried this last night as I passed out treats to the tricksters:
1. Ryme Fiano LagoVnyd/SonomaCnty (12.2%; www.RymeCellars.com) Geyserville 2015: Med.yellow color; rather apple/pear/quince rather chalky/mineral fairly fragrant nose; fairly tart/tangy/bit metallic rather stony/chalky/light mineral light quince/pear bit simple/austere flavor; long stony/chalky/mineral light quince/apple/pear rather tart/tangy/lean/austere finish; resembles some Fianos from Campania but not as earthy/coarse, a bit like Suisse Chasselas, a bit like Savoie Jacquere; an altogether pleasant if a bit simple white; not nearly as perfumed as their Vermentino. $30.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This wine, tasted on its own, was a bit underwhelming. But w/ the croxetti (a classic Ligurian disk-shaped pasta) in a bacon/pesto/cream sauce, it was exactly what was needed to wash it down.
